Quality and environment
We operate according to LEAN principles
Our factory is organized according to the 5S principles and we use LEAN tools such as Kaizen (innovations), SMED (shortening of set time), Poka-yoke and Kanban. Continuous improvement of our operations and processes is the responsibility of our entire staff.
Our operations are guided by a certified ISO 9001: 2015 Quality management system and ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental management system. We use quality assurance methods, such as statistical quality control tools and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), required by the automotive industry.
The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) has awarded the IATF 16949 certification to Meconet. IATF certification complements the ISO 9001 standard. It is applied worldwide in the supply chains of the automotive industry, e.g. the design and manufacturing of cars, car parts, components and systems.
We also take environmental protection into account when planning, manufacturing and selling our products. By utilizing raw materials, energy and packages effectively, we decrease the unnecessary consumption of natural resources. We manufacture our products using recyclable materials. By carefully sorting and recycling the waste material that we produce, we reduce wastage. In addition, we seek new, more ecological methods that improve our activities.
Meconet is committed to support Conflict Mineral free sourcing. To ensure that our products do not contain Conflict Minerals we are not buying products or materials from conflict mines and we are encouraging our suppliers to work towards Conflict Minerals free sourcing.
