Stamped products can be manufactured by using either progressive or multi-slide tools. In addition, automatic assembly has usually been integrated into the efficient production line.
1. Progressive tool technology
Progressive tool technology is a cost-efficient method of production that is especially applicable to bulk production (over 10,000 parts.) This technology can be applied to multiple materials and products with a thickness of 0.1-6.0 mm. The machine can work with products with thickness of 5-6.0 mm. Thanks to advanced production technology, the products all have uniform quality. This production method requires investing in a valuable tool. Meconet has tens of different pressing tools from 25 to 400 tons.
2. Multi-slide technology
Multi-slide technology can be applied to bulk production, from tens of thousands to millions of parts. It is a cost-efficient production method thanks to the efficient use of raw materials. This technology can be applied for multiple materials (i.e. steel, spring steel, tin bronze and other copper alloys) and products with a thickness of 0.1-2.0 mm. This production method requires first investing in a tool.
3. Automatic assembly
Our automatic assembly lines allow us to produce various components at the same time and assemble the components into bigger assemblies. This is a cost-effective method of production since part production and assembly are done at the same time and different production and assembly phases can be integrated in the process. This technology also offers multiple ways of combining the products with i.e. screws, staples or welding. The automatic Bihler Multicenter machinery allows us to weld silver surfaces into copper or brass rods. The technology can be applied to bulk production, from tens of thousands to millions of parts. Requires first investing in a tool and process automation.
4. Manual assembly
Small series can be easily assembled on manual assembly lines. Its advantages are affordable first investments and tool costs. The process can also include multiple phases.
