62 round-trip flights from Helsinki to New York ? Decrease emissions
Meconet has taken a significant step towards carbon neutrality by introducing low-carbon steel into its range. This innovative material allows our customers to significantly reduce their carbon footprint.
What does this mean in practice?
An example from one of our customer projects: when low-carbon steel was used in two products, an annual reduction of 115,000 kg CO₂ emissions was achieved. This corresponds to:
✔ 30% more efficient material use compared to traditional steel
✔ Over 50% reduction in Meconet’s Scope 1 emissions
✔ 750,000 kilometers driven by a gasoline car – equivalent to 18 trips around the world ✔ 62 round-trip flights from Helsinki to New York
✔ The annual carbon footprint of 15 Finns

Investments in quality management and measurement accuracy
Quality management and measurement technology are critical factors for our customers. That’s why we continuously invest in precision and reliability. Here are two examples:
ZEISS’s top-level measuring devices, such as ZEISS O-INSPECT 863 and ZEISS DuraMax, along with PiWeb software, have improved process control and increased quality and reliability.
IATF certification and other quality standards are guarantees of high quality and safety – not only in the automotive industry but increasingly in various sectors.
Continuous development and investments enable us to support you with even better and more cost-effective solutions.
