Meconet has been engaged in the renewable energy sector and circular economy for a long time. Innovative Fans & Fan housings

The demand for ventilation and cooling systems has been steadily increasing. Efficient and high-quality fan housings enable the ventilation system to perform at optimal capacity, reducing also energy consumption and noise. New applications require new fan housing innovations, and, in many times, it is not possible to use standard components; thus, there is need for small volume solutions with innovative design.

Also, standard fan solutions are not optimal for all end user solutions. Custom-designed fans and fan housings enable maximum efficiency, optimal airflow, and low noise levels. By using Meconet co-designed fan structure you can achieve robust structure with lower weight and minimize tip clearance.

For fan system producers Meconet can offer:

Heat Pumps & Heat Exchangers

Global warming is increasing the need for cooling systems and skyrocketing electricity prices have boosted the interest in heat pumps. The heat pump and heat exchangers markets have grown massively during the last few years. This has challenged the supply chains and it might have been difficult to find suppliers for demanding sheet metal parts e.g. for end caps or pipe components.

Meconet has long experience in manufacturing components for heat exchangers and in ramping-up high-volume production or even building dedicated production lines or cells.

Solar energy systems

The solar energy market is growing fast in Europe both in residential & commercial applications. Drivers have been the skyrocketing electricity prices and the need to reduce CO2 emissions.

System suppliers are facing challenges to grow their production volume and keep up with the demand.

The target for mounting system providers is to provide systems that are easy to assemble without damaging the roof elements. That means big savings in the installation time.

The choice of raw material is important due to weight and strength. The systems must be safe, steady and weather resistant. Also coating plays an important role there. These all are important points both for mounting systems and for solar collectors.

Wind energy systems

The interest in wind energy systems, also towards smaller systems, has grown a lot. This has happened just recently due to high energy prices and favourable political decisions for public investments. Still one common challenge is that the transfer capacity is not enough to connect all new production capacity into national grids.
